Gujarat Honorary Home Guard Recruitment 2021
Home Guard will be recruited in the state of Gujarat in which a total of 6752 posts will be recruited. A total of 6752 Home Guards will be recruited in Commissioner Area and Districts Unit/Zone/Division 4 and 22. Interested candidates for this recruitment contact your area unit office or district office. Selected candidates as Home Guard will be called on important duties as and when required by the Govt. The daily allowance of Rs 300 and laundry allowance of Rs 4 will be given to the candidates when called on such duty. Home guard recruitment is not made permanent by the government and permanent employees are not eligible.

Eligibility of male candidates in the recruitment of Home Guard
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualification Must have passed standard 10 or above.
The age of the candidate should be 18 to 50 years.
Weight should be at least 50 kg.
Height should be at least 162 cm.
The chest should be at least 79 cm and the chest should be swollen to 5 cm.
The candidate should not be involved in any crime and should not have been convicted by any court established by law in India.
The applicant should not be associated with any communal organization and should not have a communal background.
Eligibility of Female candidate in the recruitment of Home Guard
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualification Must have passed standard 10 or above.
The age of the candidate should be 18 to 50 years.
Weight should be at least 40 kg.
Height should be at least 150 cm.
The candidate should not be involved in any crime and should not have been convicted by any court established by law in India.
The applicant should not be associated with any communal organization and should not have a communal background.
Recruitment Exam Details
Candidates who will be recruited during the recruitment fair will be physically tested. Which will be as follows and each candidate will have to pass the prescribed physical ability test.
For male candidates
The name of the test:1600 meter race
Passing standard:
9 minutes
Marks: 75
Passing standard:
Marks: 75
Note: If the number of candidates is more then the decision to take a 100-meter scanning test can be taken by the committee.
For Female candidates
The name of the test:800-meter race
Passing standard:
5:20 minutes
Marks: 75
The standard of selection as to which candidates to give preference to
first
The aforesaid physical test will be of 75
marks. In the race, the candidate who completes the test in due time will be
entitled to get a full 9 marks. Candidates with the following
qualifications will be selected first in the Home Guard
- N.C.C. Candidates having examination certificates will be given an additional 05 marks.
- Candidates who have a certificate/medal in a sports competition at the state level / national level/university level will be eligible to get an additional 05 marks.
- Candidates who have a Heavy Motor Vehicle or Light Motor Vehicle license and have at least two years of driving experience and a certificate in that regard will be eligible to get an additional 05 marks.
- Candidates who have passed the "CCC" examination with computer knowledge will be eligible to get additional 05 marks.
- Candidates who have a certificate from a government-recognized institute in technical skills like Yoga, Mechanical, Electrical, Office Automation, Automobiles, and Nursing trade knowledge, etc. will be eligible to get additional 05 marks.
- Candidates with 75 marks on the physical test and the above-mentioned qualifications will be eligible for 5 marks for each of the special qualifications which will have a total of 25 marks. There will be a test of 100 marks in total.
