Gujarat Police Recruitment Board has been constituted by Home Department vide Resolution dated 7 3 2014 from 10 2019. Now Gujarat Police Force Recruitment is released by this Board. Mr. Hasmukh Patel ips and Mrs. PV Rathore has been appointed as Officers in the Board by the Home Department Gandhinagar with effect from 17 8 2023.

Online applications have been invited by Gujarat Police Board for direct recruitment of Gujarat Police Class III Police Inspector Cadre and Lokrakshak Dal Armed Police Constable, Armed Police Inspector, Armed Police Inspector SRPF and Jail Sipai vacancies by Home Department Gandhinagar. Eligible candidates as per direct recruitment rules for all posts are required to apply online on the police recruitment advertisement page from 4 4 2014 to 3 PM to 12 midnight on 30 4 2024.

Non-reserved police sub-inspectors:

Currently, 130 posts for men and 64 posts for women have been allotted in non-reserved police sub-inspectors. 31 Economically Weaker Section posts in Unarmed Police Sub-Inspector are allotted to men and 16 to women. In scheduled castes, 22 posts are allotted to men and 11 posts to women. Scheduled Tribes have 48 posts for men and 23 posts for women

85 posts for men and 42 posts for women are reserved for socio-educationally backward classes Total posts in Unarmed Police Sub Inspector are 316 for men and 156 for women.

Unarmed police constable:

Now talking about unarmed police constable, 1855 posts among men in unreserved 913 posts are allotted for female candidates and economically weaker section 461 posts are allotted for men and 227 posts are allotted for women, while in scheduled caste 304 posts are allotted for men and 150 posts are allotted for women. In scheduled tribes, 663 posts are allotted to men and 327 posts to women. Among socio-educational backward class candidates, 1139 posts are allotted to males and 561 posts to females, the total number of posts is 4422 to males and 2178 to females.

The Armed Police Constable:

Among the unreserved candidates in the Armed Police Constable, 990 posts are allotted to men, 488 posts to women, while 258 posts are allotted to men in economically weaker sections, 127 posts are allotted to women, while 145 posts are allotted to men in Scheduled Castes and 71 posts to women, 322 posts are allotted to men in Scheduled Tribes. Also, 164 posts have been reserved for women, while 487 posts have been reserved for men and 240 posts have been reserved for women from socio-educationally backward classes, totaling 2212 posts for men and 1090 posts for women.

Jail Sipai:

Talking about the posts of armed police constables, 410 posts among men in unreserved, zero posts among women, 100 posts among economically weaker sections, 100 posts among women, zero posts among scheduled castes, 70 posts among men and zero posts among scheduled tribes, 150 posts among men, zero posts among women, socially backward class nine. Candidates have 270 vacancies among male candidates and zero vacancies among female candidates. Total 1000 vacancies are allocated among male and female candidates.

Age Limit and Educational Qualification:

Police Sub Inspector Cadre:

The age limit and educational qualification for the post of Police Sub Inspector Cadre will be as follows in which the age limit for Preparatory Police Inspector will be minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as well as educational qualification Educational qualification should be Graduation from an established University recognized by Government of India or State Government.

Lokrakshak cadre:

Talking about Lokrakshak cadre age limit and educational qualification, unarmed police constable, armed police constable, jail constable and armed constable should have age limit of 18 years and maximum of 33 years and educational qualification should be 12th pass or equivalent examination.

Upper Age Limit:

Notification Regarding Upper Age Limit in Police Sub Inspector and Lokrakshakar Cadre

• Scheduled Castes Scheduled Tribes Socially and Educationally Backward Class Economically Candidates The limit will be relaxation of five years.
• All women candidates will get relaxation of five years reserved category women will get relaxation of ten years.
• Exemption admissible as per Ex Serviceman Rules Ex-Servicemen and Ex-Servicemen who have served less than six months and who are permanently retired from service shall not exceed the limit of three years.
• Check the notification issued for more information about the relaxation of the limit, if any.
• Candidates currently serving as Constable Head Constable ASI in the State Police Force will have relaxation of three years as per rule in the upper stream in the form of Divisional Police Sub Inspector.
• Candidates having all the relaxation mentioned above should not be more than 45 years of age.
• Scheduled Castes Scheduled Tribes General and Educationally Backward Class and Economically Weaker Class Candidates of Gujarat will be eligible for the benefit as reserved category candidates.

A Physical criteria (minimum):

Physical criteria for male candidates will be as follows: Height 162 cm for Scheduled Tribe Candidates of Gujarat Native should be 162 cm chest 79 cm with chest 84 cm and for all candidates except Scheduled Tribe candidates height 165 cm chest 79 cm with chest 84 cm. Chest should be at least five centimeters.

Physical requirements for female candidates should be 150 cm height for Scheduled Tribe candidates originating from Gujarat and 155 cm height for all non-Scheduled Tribe candidates.

Examination Fee:

Candidates of general category have to pay the exam fee in the recruitment of Lokrakshak Dal as follows, Candidates who want to fill the form in PSI have to pay a fee of Rs 100, candidates of Lokrakshak cadre also have to pay a fee of Rs 100. Candidates who want to fill the form in both LRDs will have to pay a fee of ₹200.

Note: The exam fee has to be paid online only, the exam fee cannot be paid in cash or currency at the post office or bank.

Police Inspector Cadre Exam Steps:

First of all, physical test will be conducted in police inspector exam, then main exam will be conducted.

Steps of Lokrakshak Cadre Exam:

In the examination of Lokrakshak cadre, physical test will be conducted first and then objective MCQ test will be held.

Physical Test:

For all posts, the test will be held as follows in which 5000 meters race for men will have to be completed in a maximum of 25 minutes, and 1600 meters for women will have to be completed in a maximum of 9 minutes 30 seconds, 24 meters for service men will be completed in a maximum of 12 minutes and The race has to be completed in 30 seconds.

Notifications for Police Sub Inspector Cadre Recruitment:

Candidates who will be tested for physical ability and physical criteria will have to pass the exam as follows in the second step, in which 200 marks will be given in General Studies of three hours time, and in Gujarati and English language skills there will be a paper of 100 marks and three hours of time, a total paper of 300 marks will be given. It will be six hours.
